A tad too local for me!

Two annoying ingredients to the "bad blogging post recipe"you will certainly find in my posts more often than not: Local stuff and rants.

Sometimes I'll even have a local take on a story and tell it in a ranting tone.
You'll all have to excuse me in advance. This is the official fore-disclaimer. I'll try my best not to fall into the trap too frequently as I,  myself have a medium to low interest in stories with references recognizable only by a designated few of which I'm not part.
Mentions of places and specific neighborhoods areas/landmarks can be elusive and tough to picture  sometimes, but not completely un-relatable. I may unintentionally overlook the fact that not everyone reading the piece, knows the intricate dynamics and the conundrums attached to the subject, situation and geographical area.
I've been lucky enough to have lived (at least for long stretches at a time) in four different countries on 3 different continents.
Still, if one lives in La Jolla, CA or Dijon, France, and is ranting about some random street or parking lot or Mall in their area, I get the general gist, a fuzzy idea of what might be going on. Yet it generally feels more like walking in a room with people having a private conversation with their local friends. The intruder feeling is never cool.
Now coupled with a tone pertaining to rants and complaints, a post have better be carved in solid granite or just make a valid point, not to bore the hell out of potential readers, followers (hey that's really blogger's term not my own), admirers and ahem... haters. This is where I vow to apply myself and hope to give any narrow situation, a broad appeal. I mean it's not a promise or anything but I'll try.
